Contact enrichment

Ivy fills in the gaps on contacts you already have

This is how Orbit does AI contact enrichment: Ivy researches the contacts already in your CRM and fills in what is missing, the email you never got, the LinkedIn handle, the company and role. She adds to blank fields only and never overwrites what you already know. The result is a fuller record without the manual googling.

What does Ivy add to an existing contact?

You save a contact from a Chrome extension grab or a quick note, and half the fields are empty. Ivy goes looking for the rest. She researches the person and fills in the gaps: a missing work email, social handles, the company they are at now, their title, the basics you would otherwise hunt down yourself.

This is enrichment for people who are already in your book. It is different from cleaning up brand-new inbound, which is its own job. If you want the version that enriches fresh leads as they arrive, that lives on the AI lead enrichment page. Ivy does both, the two pages just describe the two moments she runs.

What does Ivy not touch?

The safety rule is simple and strict:

  • She fills blanks only. If a field already has a value, Ivy leaves it alone.
  • She never overwrites your data. The note you typed and the email you confirmed stay exactly as they are.
  • She queues her findings for review, so a wrong guess never silently becomes the record of truth.
  • She works from the contacts you choose, not a blanket sweep of strangers.

Enrichment that overwrites your own notes is worse than no enrichment. Ivy only ever adds to the blanks, and you approve what lands.

Do I approve what Ivy finds?

Yes. Ivy's additions land as suggestions you can accept or reject, so a stale email or a wrong company never quietly attaches itself to a contact. You stay the editor of your own database.

Because she only fills blanks and queues for review, the worst case is a suggestion you decline. There is no risk of an enrichment pass scrambling records you spent time getting right.

What does it run on, and who is it for?

Ivy runs on your own AI model key, and for richer prospecting you can add optional Firecrawl or Apify keys. Providers bill you directly at cost with no Orbit markup, so enriching a batch of contacts costs cents for solo use.

She earns her keep for anyone with a contact list full of half-filled records: networkers, recruiters, agency owners, anyone who grabs people fast and tidies later. Instead of opening twelve tabs to complete one contact, you let Ivy do the legwork and approve the result.
