Terms of Service

Last updated: June 5, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Orbit ("Orbit", "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the Orbit personal CRM at inorbit.one and app.inorbit.one (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Orbit is a personal CRM built for one person to keep relationships warm: contacts, a timeline of interactions, tasks, calendar, a deal pipeline, notes, and tools to send and automate follow-up email. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
  • Notify us promptly at support@inorbit.one if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

  • Use Orbit to send unlawful, deceptive, or unsolicited bulk messages (spam), and you will comply with all applicable anti-spam and communications laws, including CAN-SPAM, CASL, and similar rules, when using the email and messaging features.
  • Upload or process data you do not have the right to use, and you will honor the privacy rights of the people in your contacts.
  • Attempt to access, disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others, or for any illegal purpose.
  • Resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly allowed.

4. Connected third-party services

Orbit can connect to services you already use, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and LinkedIn. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms and policies.

By connecting an account, you authorize Orbit to access and use that data to provide the features you request. You can revoke access at any time. We are not responsible for third-party services or for changes they make that affect Orbit.

5. Your content and data

You own the content and data you put into Orbit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for having the necessary rights and lawful basis to upload and process information about the people in your contacts, and for complying with applicable privacy and data-protection laws.

6. Plans, billing, and the free plan

Orbit currently offers a free plan with no credit card required. We may introduce paid plans (such as Pro and Team) in the future.

If you purchase a paid plan, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the applicable fees, and you agree to the pricing and billing terms presented at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and brand, is owned by Orbit and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or modify the Service except as allowed by law.

8. Privacy

Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be available or accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Orbit harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution.
